Leading the Way to Become a Community Where Children are Healthy, Connected, and Ready to Thrive

Rachel Gillespie

We are excited to bring you this event, where you can learn about Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services!

This organization has been a part of the Corsicana community since 2000 and serves children and families in need. In 2019, they opened an innovative new program to serve families with children under six and pregnant parents with the goal of building healthy attachments and preventing child abuse and neglect.

The first five years of a child’s life may be the most important, and the Growing Together program helps parents maximize that time and navigate the stress and joy of raising young children.

In addition to working individually with families, they have also put on various parent support groups and parent education events through the Navarro County Early Childhood Coalition, whose goal is to create a community where all children are ready to thrive by age 5.

We look forward to seeing you there,
